Answer :: We knew we wanted some limbs removed to add light to our backyard. Ed told us we had 2 options, one was to thin the tree all the way up or just to remove some of the lower branches. He explained both options and, while we opted to go with just limbing the tree for now, we do plan to have him back in the future to thin the tree out and remove some dead limbs.
